Festival season is upon us!

Cloth House

That glorious time of the year when up and down the country we Britons head to the hills in our thousands in pursuit of unadulterated, libertine pleasure. Drinking home brewed ciders, rosy cheeked, bare footed and with a grin wider than the main stage…you’ll find us doused in glitter, cavorting around a field where the grass really is greener.

Surrounded by merry – making bon vivants and the contagious optimism of youth; festivals really are where creativity runs free. We say YES to basking in the drawn out, hazy, hedonistic days of summer. It’s officially playtime and to celebrate all that is festival-ey here are our Cloth House Festival Must Haves:

Indigo Wave Scarf, Vintage Kheesa Pouch, Gold Indian Bells, Vintage Belts, Ikat Prints. (Artisan Hats, Decorative Pom Poms, haberdashery and Embroidered Tassel Bracelets are all available at our Soho store @ 47 Berwick Street.)

As “Glamping” booms more and more festivals pop up each year, we are becoming experts in the art of festival-ling. Visions of bedding down under a scrap of nylon fabric have become a thing of the past. It is now perfectly acceptable, if not expected, to arrive with a fully adorned bedouin palace; flags, bells and whistles to-boot.

And its not just what’s on the outside of your teepee that counts. To ensure maximum festival kudos be sure to deck your camping head quarters top to bottom with Cloth House treasures, ticking, candy striped canvas and mulitcoloured blankets.

Go on! Get creative, grab your galoshes and head to the great outdoors…
